ClosedEdit a user

If you change a user's password, the next time the user logs in to your network of electronic service providers, they will be prompted to type their old password.

  1. Open the user's organization folder, select the user from the list, and then click the Edit icon.

  2. On the User Details window, update information as required.

    • You cannot change the value in the User ID field.

  3. Click OK.

  1. Drag and drop a user from the User ID list onto any other organization folder.

    • The user becomes a member of the organization to which it was moved.

ClosedDelete a user

Before you delete a user, reassign the loans that are owned by the user. Refer to the topic, Assignment of Rights.

  1. Open the user's organization folder, select the user from the list, and then click the Delete icon.

    • If a user is currently logged into Encompass (desktop version), the web version of Encompass, or Encompass TPO Connect, a pop-up message is displayed to notify you and the deletion will not continue. Click OK to proceed.

  1. When prompted, click Yes to proceed with the deletion.

  2. On the next window, select an option for disposition of contacts (if any) that are owned by the user.

  3. Click OK to complete the deletion.
