Change Type:Updated entry

Change Date: 6/21/2023

Details: The New Authorized VOI and Authorized VOA Fields Added to Borrower Summary - Origination Input Form entry has been updated. A new note was added to indicate that the new fields added in Encompass, while available for manual data entry, are not currently equipped to auto-populate VOI and VOA data from Encompass Consumer Connect loans into these fields.

New note added:

Although these fields are now available in Encompass, the mechanism to automatically populate these fields with the applicable VOI and VOA information from Encompass Consumer Connect loan files is not currently available. This functionality will be provided in a future Encompass release. In the interim, users may manually enter information in these fields.

Change Type:Updated entry

Change Date: 6/12/2023

Details: The "Migration" information in the New Encompass Admin Tools Setting to Manage Index Rate Decimals entry on the Feature Enhancements page has been updated.

Current information:

Migration: This setting in Admin Tools is not applied to loans created prior to Encompass 23.2. For these existing loans, three decimal points will continue to be used for the Index % field. Even if this setting is changed to Five Decimals, the loans will continue using three decimals for Index %. If you want to use five decimals for the Index % in existing loans, you can use the ARM Index Precision field (field ID 4912) to manually select Five Decimals. The five decimals rounding logic will be applied to the Index % for that loan only. For more information about the ARM Index Precision field, refer to the Updates to Index Fields and Index Calculations section below.

Previous information:

Migration: For existing loans, if this setting is changed to Five Decimals, the loans will continue using three decimals for Index %. When an existing loan file is opened, then the current ARM Index Precision setting will be applied. If the current setting is set to Five Decimals, the existing three decimals will be followed by two trailing zeroes in existing loans. If the user clicks the Get Index button on an existing loan file, and the current setting is Five Decimals, the new five decimal value will be used in the Index % field and related calculations.
