Release Notes Change Log for Version 23.3 (Banker Edition)

Details: The Encompass eClose Issue Resolved: Mismatch Between Borrower Name and Borrower Pair Name in Borrower Vesting Results in Document Processing Error entry on the Fixed Issues page was updated with an important note on September 29 (as mentioned below in this Change Log). This note has been revised as shown here: 

Update 10/6/2023: The original fix to eClose loans that addresses errors when the Borrower Vesting name differs from the Borrower name entered at the time of application is in the 23.3 release as planned, but with the discovery of two additional use cases, the fatal audit created to alert users will remain in place. Closing Docs users should continue to maintain name consistency by updating the names in the Borrower Name and Borrower Vesting fields. The Encompass update to address the additional changes will be released soon along with the fatal audit.

Details:The following entries have been updated as follows:

• The Existing Supplemental Insurance Fields Added to Encompass Input Forms entry on the Feature Enhancements page was updated to clarify how the Lock icons added to the proposed Supplemental Insurance field (field ID URLA.X144) can be used to manage the values in this field.

• The New Rate Options Added to Index Rate dropdown Field Lists entry on the Feature Enhancements page was updated with a note calling out that the new Freddie Mac PMMS index values added to ARM Index Rate dropdown field lists will not be captured accurately on the Mavent Compliance Report (PDF and XML) at this time. The required mapping update will be provided as soon as possible.

• The New Personas Options for Ordering Pre-Closing Documents entry on the Feature Enhancements page was updated with a note to explain that the new Personas options are intended for use with a future web version of Encompass release.

• The New Property Disaster Declarations Section Added to Property Information Input Form entry on the Feature Enhancements page was updated with a note calling out that the new Property Disaster Declarations fields are not included on any printed output forms.

The following two updates have been made to the Feature Enhancements section:

• New MI Center (New entry added to the Updates to Forms and Tools section.)

• Two New Credit Fields Added to AUS Tracking Tool’s Quick Entry Screen (This entry was updated with a note to indicate that parsing logic for the new fields will be available in a future release.)

The screen examples provided in the following two entries from the Feature Enhancements section were updated and replaced the previous screen examples.

• Existing Supplemental Insurance Fields Added to Encompass Input Forms (The screen example of the Proposed Supplemental Property Insurance pop-up window was updated. The previous screen example was from a pre-23.3 version of Encompass.)

• Cleanup and Reorganization of the Freddie Mac Additional Data Input Form (The screen example of the bottom of the Freddie Mac Additional Data input form featuring the Affordable Loan Eligibility portion of the form was updated to include the most up-to-date version of the input form in Encompass 23.3.)

• New Preferred Contact Method Section to Track Best Time and Method for Contacting Borrowers (The screen example of the Preferred Contact icons on the Borrower Summary - Origination input form was replaced with a screen example showing the icons on the 1003 URLA Part 1 input form.)

Details:

The following entry was removed. This new Personas option will be made available in a future Encompass release after Encompass 23.3.

New Personas Option for Ordering Disclosures with Compliance Audit Failures

In the Encompass Settings > Company/User Setup > Personas setting, a new Web Order Disclosures even with Compliance Review Failures option is available on the eFolder tab. Use this option to enable users in the web version of Encompass and Encompass TPO Connect to order disclosures even if the compliance audit performed when ordering documents includes Fail alerts.

This Personas option is not applicable to Encompass (desktop).

This option will be disabled (grayed-out) if the option to include a compliance report is enabled for eDisclosures.

Please note that this Personas option will not be applied or enforced in the web version of Encompass or Encompass TPO Connect 23.3 releases. The features in the web version of Encompass and TPO Connect that are applicable for this Personas option are targeted for a future release.

The Update to Unacceptable Payment Record on Previous Mortgage Checkbox on Statement of Denial Input Form entry in the Fixed Issues section was updated to mention that an additional checkbox on the input form, Length of Residence (DENIAL.X48), was also incorrectly positioned on the input form and is now fixed in Encompass 23.3. This entry has been re-titled to Update to Unacceptable Payment Record on Previous Mortgage and Length of Residence Checkboxes on Statement of Denial Input Form.

• System Performance No Longer Affected When Batch Jobs Run

• Duplicate Entries No Longer Generated When Two Loan Trades Updated Consecutively Via Loan Trades Pipeline View

• Base Sell Price Now Calculated Correctly When Loan Trade Assigned to Security Trade

• Batch Jobs No Longer Allowed for Trades/Pools in “Pending” Status

The following new entries were added to the Encompass Settings section of the Fixed Issues page.

• System Performance No Longer Affected By Do Not Allow Changes After Pricing Has Been Retrieved Option on Product and Pricing Setting

• Enable Bid Tape Management and Enable Bid Tape Registration Options Available Again on Trade Management Setup Setting
