Fixed Issues for Version 23.3.0.2 (Banker Edition)

Why we fixed this issue: This issue was fixed to improve usability and to help ensure Encompass is operating as expected. This issue was chosen to be fixed based on the severity of its impact to clients and client feedback.
Updates to the Encompass Client Machines
The Encompass 23.3 Critical Patch 1 release includes the following updates, which will be applied to users' Encompass client machines (23.3.0.2). This client update can be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. If the tool has been configured to always apply new releases to users’ computers automatically, users will receive this update upon their initial log in of Encompass following the release.
If you are utilizing the Encompass SDK for this calculation, upgrading to the new SDK package for 23.3.0.2 is required to receive this update.
An issue with the Hazard Insurance (field ID 1726) and Supplemental Insurance (field ID 4947) fields was introduced in Encompass 23.3. When new loan files were created in Encompass 23.3 and indicated as non-active (i.e., the loan's Current Status (field ID 1393) is anything other than "Active Status"), the Hazard Insurance and Supplemental Insurance fields were locked and would not be calculated with the new field logic introduced in Encompass 23.3 like they should have been. This issue has been fixed. Going forward, when new loans are created/saved/reopened in Encompass 23.3.0.2 and later, these fields will not be locked and will use the logic introduced in Encompass 23.3 as intended (regardless of the Current Status indicated in field 1393).
To address this issue for impacted loans created in Encompass 23.3 or 23.3.0.1 please follow the steps below.
Impacted loans are limited to loans created in Encompass 23.3 or 23.3.0.1 in a dispositioned/non-active status (field ID 1393). If a loan was created in active status and later dispositioned, then this loan is not considered impacted.

After upgrading to Encompass 23.3, some clients received Application Errors like the one below in Encompass when sending documents where a non-borrowing owner (NBO) was included in the loan, but the NBO was not included in the File Contacts. For example, when a loan team member was ready to send out closing documents for a loan where an NBO is listed in the Vesting Information table on the Borrower Information - Vesting screen, but there is no Non-Borrowering Owner indicated in the Category/Role column in the File Contacts tool, the following error was triggered when they tried to send the closing documents:

An error occurred. Please contact the administrator with the following information:
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
This issue has been fixed and the error message will no longer be triggered when NBOs are not included in the File Contacts for the loan.
If you are utilizing the Encompass SDK for this calculation, upgrading to the new SDK package for 23.3.0.2 is required to receive this update.
An issue with the Encompass SDK occurred where the Elli.AdvCode.dll file was missing after installing the 23.3.0.1 SDK package over the existing 23.3.0.0 SDK package. After installing the 23.3.0.1 SDK and then exporting the SDK directory of Encompass files, the Elli.AdvCode.dll was not in the directory. As a result the following error message would be triggered in SDK applications when executing Loan Open calls:
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: 'Could not load file or assembly 'Elli.AdvCode, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=d11ef57bba4acf91' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.'
This issue has been fixed and the Elli.AdvCode.dll is available in the new Encompass 23.3.0.2 SDK package. Install the new package and the error message will no longer be triggered.
