Encompass TPO Connect 22.1 Major Release
(Version 22.1)

This document is a preview of the upcoming Encompass TPO Connect 22.1 Major Release. The areas of focus for this release, along with feature enhancements and fixed issues included in this release, are listed below. This content is subject to change until the official product release.

When the expanded and fully documented release notes are available for this release, they will replace this Release Preview Document.

What's In This Release (TPO Connect Administration)

Feature Enhancements

New Settings

• New Service Credentials Added to Title Fee Integration Section of Integrations Setting (NGENT-23558) - A new Service Level Username and Service Level Password field have been added to the Title Fee Integration section of the Integrations setting. These new fields store the login credentials for the selected service (currently only Closing Corp). In addition, an email address to Closing Corp’s Support has been added if you would like to/need to enable the feature.

• New Enable/Disable Editing of Contacts For Specific Personas Setting Added to Additional Settings (NGENT-24081) – A new Enable/Disable Editing of Contacts For Specific Personas setting has been added to Additional Settings. This new section controls, by persona, the users that can edit contacts. By default, this new setting will not be selected and all personas will be able to edit contacts.

• New Header Content Section Added to Additional Options Tab of Theme Setting (NGENT-21670) – A new Header Content section has been added to the Additional Options tab of the Theme setting. This new section configures the TPO website’s browser title and provides the ability to include additional text in the banner, located to the right of the logo.

• Loan Summary Ribbon Custom Fields Setting Under Additional Settings Now Honors Standard Fields with VEND Prefix (NGENT-22313) – The Loan Summary Ribbon Custom Fields setting under Additional Settings now honors standard fields with the “VEND” prefix and displays them on the Loan Summary ribbon.

• New Auto Fulfilled Condition Option Added to Configure Notify Lender Button Setting Under Additional Settings (NGENT-23831) – A new "Only for Standard Conditions, to Automatically mark conditions "Fulfilled" when user clicks Notify Lender button and the condition has a document attached" option has been added to the Configure Notify Lender Button setting under Additional Settings. This new option controls whether a standard condition will be automatically marked as “Fulfilled” when the Notify Lender button is selected and there is a document attached or whether a notification is sent when the Notify Lender button is selected but the status is not updated.

• New Fields Added and Existing Field Options Updated for Correspondent Non-Delegated and Delegated Channels on Loan Navigation Tab of Pages & Links Setting (NGENT-21521) – The following updates have been made to the Correspondent Non-Delegated and Delegated channels:

• Two new fields, Fees and Disclosure Tracking, have been added to the Correspondent Non-Delegated channel.

• A Custom Page check box and SSF page field have been added to the existing Purchase Advice field for both the Correspondent Non-Delegated and Delegated channels.

URLA 2020 Updates

• New Fields Added and Existing Field Options Updated on URLA 2020 Setting (NGENT-22094, NGENT-22191, NGENT-22640, NGENT-23819, NGENT-24146) – New fields have been added to and existing field options have been updated on the URLA 2020 setting.

• A new Freddie Mac Offering Identifier (field ID CASASRN.X163) field has been added to the Additional Information section.

• A new Pending Sale Date (field ID FM0154) field has been added to the Real Estate section.

• A new "Hybrid" option has been added to the Borrower - If yes, what format was it in? (field ID URLA.X154) field and the Coborrower - If yes, what format was it in? (field ID URLA.X160) field in the L5 Homeownership Education and Housing Counsel section under Lender Loan Information.

• A new Refinance Program (field ID URLA.X166) field has been added to the L1 Property and Loan Information section under Lender Loan Information.

• New Purchase Credit Type (field IDs 202, 1091, 1106, 1646) fields have been added to the L4 Qualifying the Borrower section under Lender Loan Information.

• New Credit Source (field IDs 4667, 4668, 4670) fields have been added to the L4 Qualifying the Borrower section under Lender Loan Information.

• The "Child Support", "Separate Maintenance Expense", "Delinquent Taxes", and "Other Expense" options have been removed from the Account Type (field ID FL0108) field in the Liabilities - Credit Cards, Other Debts and Leases that You Owe section under Assets and Liabilities.

• A new "Tax Lien" option has been added to the Account Type (field ID FL0108) field in the Liabilities - Credit Cards, Other Debts and Leases that You Owe section under Assets and Liabilities.

• A new Source of Down Payment (field ID 34) field has been added to the Loan and Property section.

• A new Source of Funds (field ID URLARAL0133) field has been added to the Other New Mortgage Loans on the Property You are Buying or Refinancing section under Loan and Property Information.

• A new Source (field ID URLARGG0119) field has been added to the Gifts or Grants You Have Been Given or Will Receive for this Loan section under Loan and Property Information.

Additional Enhancements

• Encompass Create/Edit Contacts Personas Setting Honored for Users with Access to Company Account and Branches Tabs on Manage Account Page (NGENT-21610) – Users with access to the Company Account and Branches tabs on the Manage Account page can now create or edit contacts if the Encompass Create/Edit Contacts Personas setting is enabled under TPO Contacts on the External Settings tab.

• Batch Document Upload and Reporting View Pages Open Directly to View When Only One View Enabled (NGENT-17107) – When there is only one view enabled for the Batch Document Upload or Reporting View page, those pages will open directly to the enabled view instead of requiring a user to select that view from the Select a document upload view/Select a report drop down field.

• Loan Action Completion Business Rule with Advanced Condition Now Triggers Required Fields Pop Up Window (NGENT-10159) – Prior to this release, a Loan Action Completion business rule with an advanced condition triggered an Error response, where a user could not update missing fields or create/attach documents. From this release forward, a Required Fields pop up window will be triggered, where a user can update missing fields or create/attach documents.

• Help Links in Encompass TPO Connect Administration Updated to Point to New Server (NGENT-18619) – As part of the ICE Mortgage Technology rebranding effort, all help links in the Encompass TPO Connect Administration have been updated to point to an ICE Mortgage Technology server.

• Updates to the Loan Estimate Fee Management Page (NGENT-23657) The following two updates have been made to the Loan Estimate Fee Management page:

• When the Title Fee Integration check box is not selected in the Integrations setting or a Persona Access to Loan Actions business rule sets Request Title Fees to hide, the Title/Closing Fees section and Save and Request Title/Closing Fees button will not be displayed.

• When a Persona Access to Loan Actions business rule sets Request Loan Estimate to hide, the Loan Estimate section and Save and Request Loan Estimate button will not be displayed.

Fixed Issues

• Company Extensions/Branches Now Honor Channel Settings (NGENT-23064) – Fixed an issue where a user assigned to a company extension/branch could only create or view loans in the channels assigned to their parent organization and not the channels assigned to their organization.

• PDF Documents Stored in Assets Library Now Download as PDF (NGENT-13202) – Fixed an issue where PDF documents uploaded to the Assets library could not be downloaded as a PDF. In addition, a secure connection (i.e., https://) is required for both the TPO website and the location of the document.

• Field IDs 1405 and 230 Can Now Be Populated via Required Fields Pop up Window When Loan Action Completion Business Rule Triggered (NGENT-22235) – Fixed an issue where field ID 1405 and field ID 230 could not be populated via the Required Fields pop up window when a Loan Action Completion business rule was triggered.

• Required Fields Pop Up Window No Longer Displays Duplicate Fields (NGENT-23412) – Fixed an issue where the Required Fields pop up window displayed duplicate fields.

• Navigation Link in Footer Now Remains When Page Refreshed (NGENT-23466) – Fixed an issue where a navigation link configured to only be in the footer was no longer displayed when the page was refreshed.

• Custom Left Navigation Menus Now Remain When Page Refreshed (NGENT-23587) – Fixed an issue where custom left navigation menus (e.g., Fees, Documents, Conditions) reverted back to their default pages when the page was refreshed.

• Business Rule Fail Message Pop Up Window Now Correctly Labeled as Error Details (NGENT-23829) – Fixed an issue where the Fail message pop up window for a business rule with an advanced condition was incorrectly labeled as “Missing Required Fields”.

What's In This Release (TPO Connect Website Updates)

URLA 2020 Updates

• Updated Left Navigation With Streamlined Design (NGENT-21528) – Updated the left navigation menu to enable users to navigate the URLA 2020 forms easily.

• Added Freddie Mac Offering Identifier (NGENT-22094) – Added the Freddie Mac Offering Identifier field to the URLA / Additional Information page.

• Added New Fields and Updated Existing Field Options (NGENT-22640, NGENT-23819) – Added several fields and updated existing fields to provide new options.

Feature Enhancements

• Improved Messaging for FNM 3.4 Imports (NGENT-22083) – Provides more information in an error pop-up when an error occurs while creating a loan from a Fannie Mae 3.4 file.

• Enhanced Conditions External Description Supports 3000 Characters (NGENT-24552, NGENT-20401) – External descriptions for Enhanced Conditions now displays up to 3000 characters.

• Added Fields to Product And Pricing Search Pages (NGENT-24522) – Added Subject Property is a Condotel and Subject Property is a Non-Warrantable Project fields to the Product and Pricing search pages.

• Credit Provider Name Change (NGENT-23114, NGENT-23154) – Updated Data Facts name to Datafacts-Ucis.

• Credit Vendor Name and Reference Number Now Populated When Credit is Ordered (NGENT-23387) – When users order or reissue credit in TPO Connect, the name of the credit vendor and the credit reference number are now populated to the loan without requiring the user to import liabilities. Note: When ordering credit through DU with a reference number, these fields will not be populated.

• Limited Loan Access Notification Added to Status Bar (NGENT-14925) – A new Limited Loan Access notification has been added when a user’s access has been limited by a Persona Access to Loans business rule.

Fixed Issues

• Updating Asset Account Numbers Now Saves Consistently (NGENT-24947) – Fixed an issue where changes to the account number on an asset would intermittently not save.

• Save Option Removed When Navigating Away from Change of Circumstance Request (NGENT-14474) – Fixed an issue where users could inadvertently send a change of circumstance request when saving changes before navigating away from the Change of Circumstance page.

• Entering a Date Range to Filter a Report Now Working as Expected (NGENT-19476) – Fixed an issue where the cursor would jump around while the user was manually entering a date range.

• Exported Contacts Persona Column Fixed (NGENT-22563) - Fixed an issue where ‘{Item”;’ was displayed before the list of personas for a contact record when exported as a CSV file.

• VOR Record no Longer Created In Encompass When Indicated That Former Address Does Not Apply (NGENT-22807) – Fixed an issue where a blank VOR entry was created when the user selected Does Not Apply in the Former Address section on the URLA / Borrower Information page.

• Users Can no Longer Create a Loan Without a Loan Officer or Loan Processor (NGENT-22932, NGENT-23451) – Fixed an issue where users were able to inadvertently create a loan without a loan processor.

• Loans Can Now be Created in Loan Folders Containing an ‘&’ (NGENT-23171) – Fixed an issue where loans could not be created in a folder containing an ‘&’.

• Addressed Issue Preventing USDA Loans from Being Repriced (NGENT-23180) – Fixed an issue where USDA loans that were locked and confirmed were unable to be repriced in TPO Connect.

• Reports Exported to CSV Now Show Zero Value For FICO and Borrower/Co-Borrower Age Fields (NGENT-23535) – Fixed an issue where a value of “0” would display as a blank value for a report that was exported as a CSV file.

• Import Liabilities Button on URLA Form Now Works as Expected (NGENT-24061) – Fixed an issue where users received a blank screen after selecting the Import Liabilities button on URLA / Assets and Liabilities page.

• List of Documents Now Displays as Expected (NGENT-19262) – Fixed an intermittent issue where the list of available documents would not display when a user selected + Add Document on the documents page.

• Resized Column on Batch Document Upload Page no Longer Resets After Sorting by Column (NGENT-22564) – Fixed an issue where a column width that was resized on the Batch Document Upload page would reset back to the default width if a user sorted the report by a column.

• Fields no Longer Updating When Changing Amortization Type (NGENT-24344) – Fixed an issue where updating the Amortization Type field caused the loan amount to be copied to the Loan Term field.
